Food, water, baby clothes, clothes, baby needs, and blankets are pouring. But one thing people need desperately is shoes. Shoes are something not on people list. Does not need to be new.

Comments: Also PP is not all composed of billionaires. In fact, in 40s and 50s it became a refuge for lower income people to move away from city. There are still some families there that have lived and owned their family houses for decades. There is also a mobile home park, that has been subject of eviction and hostile takeover by developers for many years. Most residents were at best of the modest income. I hear that park is gone now and developers will probably have their way now. |
