Comments:  Canada and America First: A New Way Forward40 years ago, the Royal Commission on the Economic Union and Development Prospects for Canada, also known as the Macdonald Commission, presented its report to the newly elected Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Commissioned by Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau in 1982, the Commission’s first recommendation was that Canada pursue a free trade agreement with the United States to foster a more flexible economy, which would be capable of adjusting to international and technological change. Its other recommendations included an elected Senate and greater social and economic equity. Four decades later, as Canada stares in the face of perhaps its greatest ever set of geopolitical challenges ranging from the election of President Trump, China, Russia, the Middle East, crypto, AI, human migration, and the opioid crisis, could there be a more opportune time to take stock of Canada and its relationship with the United States?

Comments: A total change of rhetorics by Danes about Greenland. This clip is telling me that Greenland will happen. Unlike England, Dutch, French or Portuguese, USA does no just conquer and colonize, we normally purchase land. Purchase of Louisiana, Alaska and Guam Puerto Rico and Philippines are just examples of it. The last territory purchased by the United States was the U.S. Virgin Islands, which were acquired from Denmark for $25 million. With respect to Canada it looks like economical alliance is what's on the table. But Danes and Greenlanders rhetoric changed for sure. Comments: KAmkAr as I said 2 things happened. One was the unprecedented wind and gust of 80-90 mph in the coast area. That means 2- the choppers and superscoopers could not fly. There is no way that fire could have been controlled in any way or shape. It happened in a very populated area. It could just have been minimized by doing the necessary prep. The blame on the authorities are mainly because of lack of water and defunding the FD here in a state that fires are the way of life. That is quite embarrassing. The only thing is that with this vast devastation the death toll so far has been minimal. And it mostly happened those who did not heed the evacuation orders. This is very commendable.
