Comments: Why Inter Milan unable to sell Esposito, Taremi & AsllaniInter Milan put fringe stars Mehdi Taremi, Kristjan Asllani, and Sebastiano Esposito up for sale weeks ago. According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the club’s high asking prices have deterred potential suitors. It’s no secret that Cristian Chivu’s men are working to offload several out-of-favor players. Furthermore, they’ve already compiled a list. Kristjan Asllani sits at the top, yet Inter’s €18 million valuation already blew Fiorentina out of the water. Why Inter Milan Cannot Sell Mehdi Taremi, Kristjan Asllani & Sebastiano EspositoBefore Inter’s demands scared Fiorentina off, Asllani turned down a chance to sign for Real Betis. Therefore, his situation at San Siro remains complicated. Furthermore, Inter are eager to part ways with Mehdi Taremi after just one year. However, the Iranian’s €3m-a-year salary has put off Porto. Only a handful of teams are willing to meet the 33-year-old’s wages. Indeed, Besiktas, Fulham, and West Ham United are the most realistic options for Taremi. On top of that, the veteran striker commands an €8m price tag. Finally, Sebastiano Esposito has entered the final year of his contract at San Siro. Yet, Inter won’t let him go for less than €7m.

Comments: Comments: Report – Besiktas & Porto Embroiled In Transfer Battle For €8M-Rated Inter Milan StrikerInter Milan fringe striker Mehdi Taremi is reportedly the subject of an alleged transfer battle between Besiktas and Porto. According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the San Siro giants have slapped an €8 million price tag on their flop. New Inter Milan boss Cristian Chivu has put the 33-year-old on the chopping block. Indeed, Mehdi Taremi has failed to live up to expectations and will leave San Siro in the coming weeks. Besiktas, above all, have been keen to sign the Iranian international this summer. However, their interest has hit a pause button due to a protracted pursuit of Tammy Abraham. Meanwhile, Porto have seen a window of opportunity to board the ship, considering re-signing their former talisman. Taremi joined Inter Milan last summer. He arrived on a free transfer after his contract with Porto had expired. However, things have just never quite worked out for Taremi at Inter.
The 32-year-old scored just three goals in his first season in a Nerazzurri shirt. It would be an understatement to say that this was below expectations.
Therefore, there have been persistent rumors that Taremi could be on his way out of the San Siro after just one season.
Then, Inter would be happy to offload Taremis 6 million gross wages next season.
As far as Taremi himself, he would be willing to consider offers to leave Inter this summer, Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport reported.
However, the 32-year-old is keen to stay in Europe. He feels that he still has more left to give at the top level even if it is not at Inter.
Therefore, Taremi will turn down offers from the Saudi Pro League.
