Comments: Shahin, I was thinking the same.. Like an anticipated close Super Bowl or something but then a disappointed blow out.
Comments: Bad luck continues for the blues of Tehran. They lost Mohammadi in early minutes of their game against Alnasr, which they had a chance to get a point. And they lost Rezaian today in the 4th minute, right after his header hit the post!
Comments: Our club football is trapped in Asia. With the new format of AFC, aggressive KSA club investments in international players and declining status of our football infrastructure, there is no way we compete at the top level of elite league. KSA having 3-4 teams for years to come is also disadvantage to our clubs, as they don’t play each other taking points from each other, but we have to play all of them. So realistically finishing 6-8 in the new format would be considered a lucky achievement! OTOH, our clubs have higher quality of 90 percent of league 2 teams and don’t seem to belong there either! Playing second tier teams of Tajikistan and Jordan is not what our clubs deserve! We are trapped. We are not good enough for elite league and way better than league 2. AFC should create league 1.5 just for us!

Comments: I did cast my vote yesterday. I did not need to go to my designated voting precinct. Any voting precinct in the county would do. I filled out a short form with my name, address, and DOB. Did not need to show ID. They input my info into computer. They found me as a registered voter and verified my party affiliation. And then they gave me the option of doing it digitally on a computer or on a paper ballot. Chose paper. . Nice bunch of retired people working as volunteers. Got them couple pizzas and cookies from Costco. They were happy.
