Comments: Iran experienced significant cyberattacks on October 12, severely disrupting operations across nearly all branches of its government and specifically targeting its nuclear facilities. This incident is perceived as a possible Israeli retaliationagainst Iran’s missile assault on October 1, intensifying the ongoing tensions between the two nations. The cyberattacks affected key sectors within the Iranian government, including the judiciary, legislature, and executive branches. Firouzabadi, a former secretary of Iran’s Supreme Council of Cybersecurity, stated, “Almost every sector of the Iranian government, the judiciary, the legislature, and the executive, has been affected by these cyber-attacks. Important information has also been stolen as a result.” He further noted that Iran's nuclear facilities, along with crucial networks for fuel distribution, municipal services, transportation, and ports, were also targeted. “These incidents are just a small part of the many areas spread across the country,” he added. The backdrop of these cyberattacks is marked by Israel’s warning following the missile attack from Iran on October 1. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallantannounced on October 9 that his country would respond decisively to the Iranian aggression, stating that retaliation would be “lethal” and “surprising.” He emphasized during a speech to troops, “Our strike will be lethal, precise and above all, surprising. They won’t understand what happened and how. They will see the results.” The rhetoric and military preparations from Israel indicate a serious commitment to countering perceived threats from Iran.

Comments: Do we have a new version of Branco in our league?

And he’s not alone. an AI-generated image of a wild-eyed Grimace standing menacingly in front of Citizens Bank Park, with ominous orange smoke plumes billowing in the background. An Iran-based Mets fan has been giving the Amazins’ fan base a boost with wild memes and Farsi-filled posts. X @MetsIran“There is a growing community of Mets fans in Iran, and I try to share the love for this team through Farsi content,” the creator of the “Mets Iran Fan Club” account told The Post, adding the fans watch the games through VPNs and Russian sports streaming sites. The account’s creator declined to give his name for fear of reprisals in their home country, which has strict freedom of speech laws. Philadelphia Phillies baseball players in depicted using Galaxy Gas in an AI-generated image. One of the AI-generated images posted by the “Mets Iran Fan Club” depicted rival Phillies player getting high on nitrous oxide. X @MetsIranHis love of the Mets began in the early 2000s, when he got to see Mike Piazza play ball during a trip to Queens with his dad. The X account, which has about 3,800 followers, posted an AI-generated photo depicting the Phillies as nitrous oxide-addicted junkies, and shared an image of the Phanatic mascot being hanged by a noose — quipping that it came from “sources in Iran’s intelligence community.” Another meme depicted an AI-generated image of a wild-eyed Grimace standing menacingly in front of Citizens Bank Park, with ominous orange smoke plumes billowing in the background. “We have an Iranian Mets Fan Club twitter account and we’re not afraid to f–kin use it,” one user wrote.
Comments: Iran with potent offensive players like Sardar and Taremi only scored two goals in three games. Kuwait and Palestine are the only teams scoring less with one goal. China the worst team in the tournament so far also scored 2. The teams we played against UAE, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. And only two goals. Even against Kyrgyzstan in Tehran we scored one goal. Anyways with the tie iran falls two spots in FIFA ranking to 21. Japan catapults itself to spot 15 in FIFA ranking. |
