"Iran made a big mistake tonight — and it will pay for it," Netanyahu said. "The regime in Iran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to retaliate against our enemies." Netanyahu said Iran's attack failed, as it was thwarted by Israel's air defense system with support from the U.S. The prime minister extended his warning to Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen and Syria as well as Iran. "We will stand by the rule we established: Whoever attacks us, we will attack them," Netanyahu said.

Comments: I've always believed that the managers of the world (Mainly the west) can not tolerate any stable and functioning country in western Asia. As soon as there is a country who's doing well, like Iran in the Shah's time and even Syria before the destruction, they will move in and put an end to it. Of course if these countries do a total bending backwards, then they will be fine. Qatar, UAE, Quait, Bahran, KSA, Jordan, and others are some examples. Shah at one point decided enough is enough. Bashar Asad, Sadam, Ghazafi as well. Yes, I do believe they were all dictators but that's the middle east not Sweden. Also The name "middle east" was created by the colonial powers for the area. I like Western Asia better.
