Comments: KAmkAr After the republicans failed miserably during GWB era, the neocons had to find other venues to penetrate into the executive office. The name " Republican " became pretty much associated with endless war. In 2008 and in 2012 they threw Neocons McCain and Romney to fight Obama, respectively. And they lost miserably. The influenced one thing though, they attached the old hawkish democrat which was very instrumental in justifying Iraq war, Joe Biden, as VP of Obama and steered in a way for Hillary to be the Secretary of State (foreign affairs). The right wing Republicans knew that in no way Americans would vote for them because of how they Fucked up. The Endless wars and the financial crisis of 2008. Victoria Nuland, Blinken's undersecretary, in the documentary " Biden's Decision" made by PBS, explicitly says that Biden and Hillary were running Obama's foreign policy. As Obama's presidency was coming to end, they needed to use the opportunity to once again strike back. They did identify a few gardan koloft republicans including neocons Jebb bush, and Lindsey Graham plus a few others. But then Trump emerged and as we witnessed he knocked all the 12 republican candidates down and was becoming the favorite by the people. On the other side, Obama asked Biden not to run and instead they focused on grooming Hillary. But then on this site you also have a Bernie sanders. And Bernie sanders was the favorite by the people. But with Bernie and Trump as favorites on the two sides of spectrum and also outsiders (Bernie is/ was independent and Trump not a politician) left no opportunity for theses Neocons to make it to the Whitehouse. It was then when DNC decided to throw the superdelegates on Hillary with Obama having a meeting with Bernie and ask and convincing him to step aside. I personally believe Bernie had a very very high chance to beat Trump. In 2016 he was more popular than Trump. Do the dumped Bernie but on the other side, they used mainstream media to do whatever they can (Russia interference, pussy groping calling him a racist, and ... ) to make sure he does not become president. And in a very improbable and surprising way, Trump wins. But they were not done. They paused for 4 years and through use of mainstream media and character assassination they started initiative for ousting Trump starting right from the beginning of 2021 ( again accusations, Russia interference, BLM, George Gloyd, and impeachment)

Comments: KAmkAr as I always mention. Dems and Reps started crisscrossing in the late 50s. The Dems of bill Clinton used to be the republicans of then. And Vice versa for the republicans. History repeating itself. With Neocons migrating to dem party of Hawkish democrats, Dems settling in a right wing party, and with mellow liberal democrats likes of Tulsi and RFK Jr migrating towards Moderate Republicans, the new Republican will be a moderate party. Indeed repeat of history.
