Comments: Farzad, This is not about Harris or democratic accomplishment. Despite all the negative about Biden and company, his admin record is pretty good. Inflation numbers reaching to the 2% mark by the end of this year. Market is at all time high. Unemployment is all time low. Despite all the challenges internationally caused by bad actors (Russia and IRI), things are ok. More importantly, NATO is intact and united. Israel is taking step to control IRI and its proxy. It is actually IRI who feel threatned, and not Israel. Now, what could happen is Trump is elected. First, unlike the immigration BS, he brags about, even if he is elected, nothing can be changed, like his prior 4 years. However, NATO could be divided or at least weakened. This can only be good for Putin. That is why he is pushing for Trump to be elected. But my biggest concern is with damages he could cause to America. USA is now the greatest country on planet, leading in virtually anything that we can spell. Now is the crucial time. We are in a period of a technology shift. USA can not risk to be controlled by a mad man.

An on top of it talking on a tape about pussy groping and how good it felt. And then he won the election or in 2020 he got 12 million more votes. I also believe Trump has done bad in almost all of his debates including the ones with Hillary time. I was never impressed. Even his debate with Biden was bad. Biden was just dead that day. Trump did not impress me much.
Comments: Saeed, then what you do is list Harris's accomplishments in the past 4 years and then see if all of her accomplishments resonate with you and determine what else is left that she should do. Why don't you go ahead and do that and list like 10-12 things she did so you can cross them off and it is educational for us.
Comments: Yes Saeed. As I said you have to go with what is important for you. The big question is are you better off now than 3.5 years ago. Is the world better off now than 3.5 years ago. If you are and you support status quo then by all means you should support Harris. No ifs or buts about it. As you have seen I have not posted much about Harris as there is nothing to post about. My main intent was to open up what is going on in this Admin's US foreign policy and be informative. And a few of the folks on this page and outside got it without mentioning their names, actually they acknowledged the influence of Neocons and Cheney People in this admin. And they decided to stay on the sidelines because neither candidate can fulfill their needs. I just think It is important to know about these things. so based on that go with what you are comfortable with and go with what feels right for you. For me there are too many strange things going on and I am going with the person whom I think is the less of the two evils. Go with your conscience.
Comments: In fact, Trump agenda can only hurt US industry as it become more isolationist and make move toward Make US not great again. You may call them necon and other names, but the fact that a group of great thinkers see the world as a village, a more united world is a win-win strategy for all. Look at how poverty ridden country like China- India-Vietnam, and other small countries has advanced. If you are part of this world, your people will live a normal life without poverty, hunger and access to education. If not, people will suffer.
Comments: Why Trump is dangerous for America and democracy. 1. Anti Immigration: There are two classes of immigrants, one coming from the southern border and the other an educated group coming from countries such as India, China and others including Iran. The first group is serving shortage in labor force in construction and agriculture sector. Without them, US inflation rate would shot up to the sky as US has no means to fill the gap, not with the price these people are being paid. The second group are the engine of US economy right now. Trump pushed this hollow agenda last time around, and he had a miserable record during his time as president last time. Do not beleive me? Go and look at stats. 2. Make USA great again (MAGA): The fact is US is already great and has never been greater. May be the current adminstration does not do a good enough job of public relationship in explaining how US is greater than ever in virtually every sector of industry. Russia is rotten at its core, as they are incapable of producing anything even for their own use let alone exporting. They are living off oil/gas to be either dried up or replaced by other source of energy in short term. The other party (China) is already going through a tough time economically and their outlook is even worse. So much so that they are now relying on Africa for investment; good luck!! With chip act being in place, their industry will get hammered much worse. Western Europe with the help of USA will be ok, but countries outside these circles will be hit much harder in future. Unfortunately, Iran is among countries to be hit hard and will suffer even worse.
Comments: Differences between now & 2016 is that today we know how unhinged Trump is. Also Roe vs. Wade was still rule of the land and Trump was not a convicted felon. This does not matter to the people who believe the dog eating story but does matter to independents and women

Comments: I was talking to a friend who is in the entertainment industry and commented on the fact the fact that debate was entertaining. She corrected me and said it can not categorically be called entertaining, since one of the participants was actually normal :). I stand corrected.
Comments: Farzad, I did not follow Hillary case as far as how much she was ahead and why shoe lost it. But these thing does not happen often if at all. Polling is accurate within a margin of 1-2%. When somebody resorts to bullshits such as eating dog and cats, it means he already know he is lost it. Especially in this animal loving country. These are act of desparation. No sane person even attempt such nonsense. The actual numbers will come out later, but my guess over 10% loss in general voting at least. Today he came out with another one: ". Taylor swift will lose her popularity by endorsing Harris" This is what I have been saying all along. He has been selling himself as a business man. He is far from it, as a person who has broken record in bankcrupsy, he does not know anything about market. I know a successful business man must first have a high Q, which he has not. A successful businessman must work hard, which he is not. A successful businessman must be focused, which he is not. No wonder he has bankcrupted everything he has touched.
Comments: Cyruss, Yeah don't know what he is talking about and I don't focus on his vote grabbing nonsense. but what I do know is that this admin has not given the slightest hint in stopping of killing over 500,000 innocent lives in Ukraine Russia war. Over 500,000 innocent lives were lost. I was reading an article that says how many more lives have to be lost before we stop that nonsense war. And to pacify simple minds they talk about fake ceasefire in Gaza. Prolonging the ceasefire discussions for almost a year and you know the numbers. Just to get Michigan vote. Fortunately she will not come to power to prove my point that after election Harris will not give a pubic hair about what happens in Gaza. Anyways has to do with what is important for us. Sure if we don't give fuck about the loss of 1/2 million innocent lives, yet prospering the military industrial complex then sure dogs , cats , and transgenders in prison are topics to talk about. I have no problem. What's important is what's important to us. Go with what's important to you. This is so 2016. The day before the election Hillary had a double digit lead.
