This year's election is not a joke. It is easily at 80% foreign policy. The carrots like civil Liberty, and abortion are just out there for simple minds. Even the nauseating woke of now is not an issue. The real issue and agenda is bigger and vey detrimental. I wish Trump was not running so people could see 20/20 with What's happening to this country. Comments: DC, after the crisis of the 70s (Vietnam war, watergate, oil embargo, Iranian revolution) and entering the 80s we saw the emergence of conservative republicans with Reagan leading to basically kind of overhaul things. With the fall of Soviet around the corner and also emergence of the first Gulf war, America needed to adjust its superpower status. The gulf war with Bush the father, former CIA director was maybe a test drive by neocons of then. The Schwarzkopf, the Cheney, and Collin Powell of the world were the major elements of that sect. But Bush the father did not cave in to escalating the war understanding that without a legit alternative they cannot pursue toppling Saddam. On the other side of the fence the democrats got their shit together and came back with a strong candidate from poor middle America who's job was to bring the people together and balance all the money US wasted (to many invested) the past 12 years bush and Reagan spent for the fall of Soviet, eastern bloc, and the first gulf war. Bill Clinton not only brought the party back but he also introduced a good balance of making America strong internally and in the world. In terms of wars, he did get NATO involved and freed up the republics of former Yugoslavia. The biggest miss of his world affair was Rwanda, which he regrets to this date that he was not pro active enough. By not budging in to neocons pressure and as result we saw the character assassination of Bill Clinton by Neocons for him to cave in and be blackmailed to accept and sign the initiative for removing Saddam. Clinton's accomplishments though was superior prompting continuation of his legacy by nominating Al Gore. We saw what neocons did with that election which forced the Ayatollahs of Washington to call the election in favor of GWB and neocons. This just proves the power and influence of the neocons. They had to get into Whitehouse any which way they could to execute the broad wars they have intended. These neocons are not necessary in favor of longevity. They do their crap create all kinds of wars and destruction and they don't care what people's reactions are. They fucked up the world and America real well specially with financial crisis. That is when we all felt SKY IS FALLING. and at the end they did not fight hard to still stay in power and that is how Obama had to be elected. The only problem was that they tagged Biden who was the orchestrator the Iraq war with Obama. Which meant that with all the good things that Obama was doing the channel to Neocons is not lost. MIT Romney and McCains kept that channel alive. The neocon influence did not pay off during 2016 election. The biggest contributor of that election loss was when the popular Bernie sanders while leading the primaries was pushed aside in favor of Hillary Clinton. That just made the young generation of democrats mad and disgusted and as result a trump comes and wins the election while losing in number of national votes. The Trump presidency was a slap on the face of democrats and its neocon influencers. No one believed and everyone was sure that Trump does not become the president. But the unwanted ultimate thing happened. And it happened only and solely because of the elite democrats and neocons miscalculations. But neocons were not done as trump presidency was a disruption to their doctrine and that was further weakening Russia and Putin ... and now we are here.

Democrat feel shameful to express their alliance with Neocons and look the other way. That's the point. Otherwise in terms of Trump he is not new and been a president for 4 years. And he dealt with Neocons during his presidency, otherwise why would have been huge propaganda to remove him. He could have been bought as you said. That's the past 4 years.
