Comments: Actually I was born in Rasht, Parents ancestory is Georgian and Azerbijani, Indian looking :-), but then some do tell me I have jonoob Shahri / chaleh meidooni accent.
Comments: The only place in iran I have seen people speaking Farsi was in Provinces of and Kerman. In Kerman negative annotations like nakon or naro starts with mim (م ). A taxi driver in Kerman told me "Agha inghadr joosh mazan".

Comments: Cyruss, here is what I can tell you about growing up as a Soni in a predominantly Shi'a city. It was bad in my elementary school years. There was a day called Omar koshan and other sick things I would hear. But under the previous regime slowly but surely things changed and there were absolutely no issues when I entered high school.
Comments: Cyruss Jan, about the Lahje subject I have to say that, to this day I have not heard an accent in Iran that I didn't like. Iran is a true multinational country with proud people in every corner of the land. I personally can't be more proud of my Kurdish/Kermanshahi accent. When I speak in my true accent I feel like I'm being honest and truthful in terms of what I have to say and in terms of showing my heritage. I met the four of you guys and I didn't feel a trace of discomfort among you guys. If I did we would have problems right there when we were having Abgoosht 😂😂 |
