Comments: Many years ago, when I was in England, I watched an interview on BBC with a prominent policy maker. The question was about democracy, and if it is the best form of government. I enjoyed the response, and it is very fitting in current time. Democracy may have had issues, and will likely face more challenges in future. But it is the best form of government that we know of. Any MF who advocate a different one, let them go and live in their model country at least for a year and come back and tell us about their life story. Many so called Iranians intellectual were lefties, but did not want to go to Russia or China even for a vacation.

In ghajar era , the well to do in some Azerbaijan cities would send their kids to Georgia or Azarbaijan to study. Russian authorities would not register them into schools unless they had a surname, and in most occasions they would assign one. Many returned to Iran with those surnames, and had to change them in a hasty manner during 21Azar events.
