Yes I was confused as what the hell he is talking about the dollar going up and asked you why did he say that. It seems like he had a presonal situation in mind where because of dollars going up he is losing money so he is not really making a lot of money. Weird
Comments: Agree with Shahin, Actually after hearing Ramin Rezaian when he said that they purposely raise the price of dollar when TM is playing, it just shows how off and out of touch trhey are. They are not Besharaf. Actually many in Iran may not be besharaf or basiji but make lots of money under the system as is, and under a regulated system like in europe or USA they cannot make that money.
Comments: Farzad: It sure did not help. Don't you guys see that players talking from both sides of their mouth is making them unpopular? Don't you think going towards the basiji crowd (they know those are basijis) and waving at them makes them unpopular with fans? Beiranvand saying that he wants to bring back the cup on 22 Bahman will make the whole team unpopular?

Comments: Their popularity declining fast and it has nothing to do with team performance on the field. It also has nothing to do with a group called them bisharaf in Qatar in 2022. We shall see when we get in middle of WC qualifying

I gave you clear example as they should have really been non basiji people traveling from Europe, US & Canada to support them in bunches. The tasbih as a symbol is exactly why they are not mardomi they are like those basijis that got $50 a day to cheer them when they display tasbih

Comments: Of course not, that's exactly the point I am trying to make. You can not say these players are bisharaf because they are not in my political camp so they lose the games and vice versa, they win because they are overtly anti-IRI. I am not sure what you mean by tasbih and it's relation to this topic. But it's in the same category I guess, they lose if they have tasbih and win if they have a farvahar on their neck!

Comments: The problem with our football is the attitude of the fans. The interview from Taghavi on Iran International posted earlier shows this perfectly. People like him are still mad at TM players because they did not do anything overtly political in the last world cup in Qatar to support their political views. They called the players bisharaf back then and this time Rezaian called them out after the Japan match and told them we are not bisharaf. It is as if if the players go political and 100% support their political ideas and oppose IRI then a miracle happens and TM wins every game and trophy! When your 'football experts' and fans are this clueless you should not expect much success from these players and the teams they represent.
