Thanks, we wanted a low maintenance and water friendly plants after we ripped out all the grass and wild shrubs. I also got a fig tree, pomegranate and cumquats trees. I got good amount of figs & cumquats last year but no pomegranates. During non rainy season, I turn on the drip water system for 20 minutes total a day

Comments: Shahin, love your back yard, when I was there for a couple of weeks I did my routine daily walks and I really liked Californians yards, specially the full grown plants, completely different than what we have, kind of exotic plants and for a gardening enthusiasts that’s a dream!

Comments: Thank you guys. Yes everyone was safe. Funny thing is that she also had a large cedar tree (the ones I posted was oak) in her front yard and few times large branches fell on the roof with minor damage. She took that tree out last year now she has no more trees. She had a mountain like house that is now has. no trees. The neighbors in the back now have to put curtains on their windows since now their entire house a visible all the way through
Comments: Kamkar, California or at least Southern California is also a 4 season state: We have fire season, earthquake season, Santa Ana winds season and flooding storm season. Despite all that, the best in the union! |
