Comments: Cyruss the first major sports event that I saw on TV was 1972 Munich Olympics and then followed by 1974 World cup. Summer 1974 WC I was in Tabriz and that's where I saw the games. Every summer we'd spend a month in Tabriz and I regret not learning the language.

Comments: Kamkar, Iranian TV didn’t show most of 70 games and none of 1966 games. If you lived in northern portions of Azarbaijani or western part of Dolan and had one of those monstrous 20-30 feet tall antennas, you could have watched the games on Baku TV broadcast.
