Comments: I'd agree with the desperation reasoning. They got nothing to lose. Theses poor people are living in a catastrophic open air prison setting. They're getting humiliated day in and day out. They did so knowing what Israel's wrath will be upon them and they still didn't mind.

Comments: IDF took control of Sderot back from Hamas militants sometime between Sunday and Monday. Sderot, before being kibutz of said name, was a Palestinian village called Huj. One of the most heartbreaking stories of formation of State of Israel. During Jewish militancy run ins with British colonialists,people of Huj provided refuge to their Jewish neighbors to the north and hid them from Brits. Only to see their village invaded by the same group a year later and kicked out of their birthplace. All the villagers became refugees at Ghaza.
