Comments: Farzad, agreed for most part. Although, poor people of Ghaza shouldn’t be confused and put in the same basket as terrorist groups ruling over them.
Comments: You need parties that can accept the fact that Palestinians need equal rights from one side and that things will not go back prior to 1948 and the state of Israel is here to stay
Comments: And none give a shit about innocent peple.
Comments: Today Bibi and Hamas need each other. Bibi to stay out if jail and Hamas to stay relevant
Comments: Cyruss, One other thing to keep in mind is that Hamas is a corrupt organization and their goal is to also have Gaza Palestinian as a victimized nation. Shahin always talks about National interest. Hamas does not have the interest of the nation as the main task. Unfortunately Martyrdom in Islam is what is embeded in the brain and that is how they are brainwashed. Hamas is not / never after the betterment of the people of Palestine as they do not believe in a two state solution. We know (and Hamas knows) what is happening in Gaza now and what will happen to it in the upcoming days. And Hamas capitalizes on it. Just to say thousands of innocent people massacared by Israel. Do their propaganda and keep this tention alive forever and ever. I think Bill Clinton had a great plan, they were an inch close to finishing it. They shook hands and agreed. But then last minute Arafat comes back and does not do it.. Mainly due to pressure from Hamas that he will be assasinated. Anywyas, they thugs have the same DNA as other ruthless dictators, they just want to fill their pocket with money. The aid they get partially goes to their personal account. When Arafata passed away, he left over $1B of personal assets and investment behind, while the paletsinian people were struggling. They have no values for humang beings. Here is some of the wealth of Hamas leaders according Asharq Al-Awsat: Marzook is considered one of Hamas's wealthiest billionaires. "Arab sources estimate his wealth at $2-3 billion," Another Hamas leader-turned-tycoon is Khaled Mashaal. "Estimates around the world are that Mashaal is currently worth $2.6 billion, but the numbers mentioned by the Arab commentators (based on their many sources) are much higher, varying from $2-5 billion invested in Egyptian and Persian Gulf banks, and some in real estate projects in the Persian Gulf countries," Elad adds. The next tycoon on the list is Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh. "He is a scion of a family from the Al-Shati refugee camp, and his capital is estimated at $4 million," Elad says, adding, "He registered most of his assets in the Gaza Strip in the name of his son-in-law, Nabil, and in the name of a dozen of his sons and daughters and a few less well known Hamas leaders. They all have homes in good neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip, where the value of every home is at least $1 million." The Asharq Al-Awsat (Middle East) newspaper, one of the most prestigious in the Arab world, recently reported that at least 600 millionaires were living in the Gaza Strip - the same people sitting on the money pipelines there.
Comments: Cyruss I totally concur with your take on the current event. I'll be honest telling you that watching the American news drives me crazy. Reporters on CNN openly cry over the loss of lives in Israel. They really don't think of the other side as humans and as equals. Over 70 years of occupation and blockade will bring out the worst in you. I'm Only following the news on AlJazerra. Can not watch the irib either. Too much propaganda.
Comments: Cyruss, thanks for the info. I had not heard his name before. The onesie listed are all on and off working in north America and all of them in a professional league with the exception of Ebrahimzadeh.
Comments: Kamkar, add this guy to your list:
Comments: It is just mind bugling how people in iran think differently about Syria and crap like that. ' https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8r54hWL/
Comments: Horrible...
Comments: Yes Cyruss. This family was a small time Jewish farmers even in Iran. My friend lived most of his life in Shahrud doing small time farming and cattle work. Their older relatives left Iran much earlier but the young ones stayed in Iran until it became impossible for them to make a living.
Comments: Shahin, tragic stories all around, no matter which Angel you look at. Poor guy, escaped a hellish life under IRI to an eventual hellish end. This tragic story has been brewing for 70 years. On one side you have arrogance that f being chosen people ( hence we can take land as we please), playing victim card ( so we are entitled to do anything we want) and dehumanizing a nation ( hence Palestinians have no human rights). And on other side a nation that has been cornered into an open air prison, with their means of survival is limited day labor work at the land that they used to own, leaving them venerable and desperate to the help and means of barbarism. The brutality shown by the hamas militants was what Pasdars, basijis and deash would do .
Comments: I just spoke to my jewish friend who himself came from Iran only 10 years ago and he was in tears. Not just for the death of his family but also the death in Gaza and what he expects to happen there
Comments: A pesar daie of a jewish friend of mine along with his 8-month pregnant wife and another daughter were killed by Hamas rockets in Askelon. The guy moved to Israel from Iran 8 years ago and was running an orange farm in that area. He actually hired day laborers who would come from Gaza and work in his farm. I am sure there are tragic stories on the other side as well
Comments: Farzad: Looks like RFK is going to run as independent and focus on general election |
