Comments: I was in a private gathering in LA. Big famous Jewish family. Yasman Pahlavi was there. Nikki Haley was there too. Hard for me to believe RP and Yasaman would instigate such thing. As they themselves both believe IRI elements and also some of the extremist so called shahollahis are the culprits.

But Milani or Misaghi although against Monarchy and pro Republic find RP the most qualified to represent Iran in transition. But I do agree he wants kingship eventually. When he says he does not want a position in the future government of iran he means exactly that. He wants to be the king. I would too if I was a prince.
Comments: I think 50% of the online attacks on Hamed & Masih online on behalf of RP comes from regime in order to create division in the coalition and they have been successful but you cannot ignore the thuggish response of the other 50% that are supporters of RP. I have seen that this group is being encouraged not by him directly but by his wife and other individuals to continue eliminating any other viable opposition/alternative. Their behavior online and in rallies is deplorable as you have seen like fingering Aalipanah guy
Comments: I think the only way you get rid of Islamic Republic is through a coup by badaneh of Sepah or Artesh. And it will happen. Israel also infiltrated well in Sepah.
Comments: Now on RP. He seriously has not been effective in whatever he has done in the last 40 years. In my opinion not much but it has the name recognition. He does not have to do a lot in order to consolidate his supporters. Regardless of what he is saying, he wants to be a king but does not have muscle to do it (west no longer supports a return via coup). His only way to get back is a coup by Sepah and bringing him back as a king. That is why he has been complimentary to all the current artesh, sepah, etc. He also needs protection when he returns and only Sepah can provide that
Comments: Yeah. And I don't think he has the support of the West. Last person they want rule iran is some sort of a Mihanparast with some sense of nationalism. On the other side when we look at Jomhoori countries around us we have Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen and Syria. How do you avoid being these countries is really the challenge. One country I went to and they did not stop praising their king (Sultan) was Oman. These guys love their country and their Sultan. You need someone with connection and influence in Iran and internationally. Aliev, El Sisi, and Erdoghan type of Jomhoori but then again those 3 are dictators too essentially
Comments: Masih is very opposite of Hamed, she wants to be center of attention. Don't get me wrong the women movement in Iran owes a lot of it to Masih but just like Hamed, she is good at fighting for women and was not able to expand her base. She is a very important figure in Iran politics and opposition movement but not the leader that can bring every one together. Of course her past did not help |
