People should be angry as they were in Oakland and Paradise. Paradise is actually is all forgotten more than Oakland. There were 13000 structures and around 85 lives lost all lower and middle class but they have been slowly rebuilding. PP will most likely be like Oakland Hills, land is valuable and will become even more exclusive when they rebuild. We need a change in attitude about prevention. Need to get serious about climate change, pass sensible funding for both prevention and rebuilding. It is not democratic and Republican thing. Texas, Louisiana and Florida go all through this as red states. It is very hard to get all this done, when you have divided government when everything is voted along party lines in government

Saeed. It is not political if it is coming out of ordinary people. Palisades and west side of LA are like easily 75% liberal democrats. People are angry. When the headline news days before Tuesday was “deadly wind to hit Los Angeles” and Los Angeles and specially that area being a fire zone, authorities had to be prepared. Fires are our everyday life here and we prepare for it. Your mayor should not be in Ganna when deadly wind is hitting us. Fire hydrants were empty or ran out of water. People are very angry. Here is Rachel Darvish.

For those who are not familiar with Pacific Palisades. Everything you see is gone.

With all my best wishes for 2025 and speedy recovery for all LA residents.  I find it ironic that some people blame it on CA governer.  how is that related to his action?
This is the report I received from my financial advisor.
  • The 2025 markets are experiencing pressure amid the Fed’s monetary policy shift and December’s jobs report, which could push the S&P 500 into correction territory.
  • By Friday morning, the S&P 500 fell 1.19%, the Nasdaq 1.38%, and the Dow 1.21%.
  • The global bond selloff pushed the 10-year US Treasury yield to 4.74%, a notable increase from the previous quarter and reflecting rising term premiums and inflation concerns.
  • Bitcoin’s selloff deepened, sliding below $93K, despite crypto trends remaining in focus as Trump’s Inauguration Day approaches.
  • Tariff threats are intensifying global tensions. In addition to the ongoing wars in Russia-Ukraine and the Middle East, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his resignation, adding uncertainty to trade relations between the U.S. and Canada, as well as with other nations.
I other words, fuck has already started.  People do not realize how good US had it in every aspect, with Biden team at the helm.  This report did not include Mexico, Panama, Denmark, UK and Canada.  I used to live in Canada, and I can tell you people in Canada hate being part of US.  And they are prepared to take arm if needed.  They regard life in US as low quality, and non civilized.

Got a hold of my neighbor in Malibu. She was also one of the lucky ones:

"All houses gone except mine and the Semeraus (the farthest house toward ocean in front of me) my garage is gone....I don't really know the condition of house is.. can only see that it is standing...looks like a war zone..but I'm ok thank you for asking...

Jeff's house is gone
The owner of the big house over on Rambla Pacifico ( not Coal Cyn. They had a drone fly over and that's how I found out. House at top of Coal Cyn. gone."

Some people's house miraculously was saved in the middle of the rubbles. And for many it was not just coincidence. The town of Palisades is 80% gone. With all the houses and structures burned it is a ghosts town. Not sure if any of the people with their house standing can even go back and live in such a situation.

I don't follow NBA that much but right now I'm watching One of the most exciting last minute victory by Mavericks over the Blazers. A 16-0 run and winning it after trailing all game long.

I have many friends like that 😆. All my ghormeh sabzi friends. Like 2 ateesheh anti Zionists. They also talk shit about capitalism and all. But then they drive BMWs and Jags, have a home and two rental properties and invest in stock market. Most as Shahin says also pass the Haj ghassem check.

I have no problem with those who voted Biden based on their beliefs in Democrat party values and loyalty to the party. I have absolutely no problems with these people.

Farzad, although I don't have any ideas who those people are that you're talking about but I totally agree with your assessment of the Zombie president. He's been by far the worst. Even worse than the racist Andrew Jackson. Being a Zionist is same as being a racist.

KAmkAr I get it. I was thinking the same. Gaza people.

The worst is when you have hard core anti Zionists, vote for a president who proclaims "I am a Zionist" and then they wonder why their civil Liberty president unconditionally supports Zionist over Gazans. I never understood them. At least you don't vote because of this belief of yours. The others I still do not get. You can't be pro Gaza but vote Zionist. That's oxymoron.

About devastation and loss of innocent lives by nature my views annd beliefs are a bit different and that is humans are also part of this nature / Universe. Loss of innocent lives be it it is by hurricanes, fire, earthquake, flood, Malaria, sharks, people, or a big tree all are caused by nature. People malaria sharks trees are all part of the nature. People are not separate from this nature. Except that when people cause the loss we say marg bar IRI, marg bar Israel, and ... but when it is act of god all bets are off. No marg bar Allah, no marg ber god or anything like that. God is exempt. 🙂

This will most likely end Newscum's career. These are not oppressed Oakland people or homelessness in San Francisco to be fooled. You have lawyers, MDs, celebrities, and many high profile people who have been affected to deal with. This corrupt government of corporate elites, whose agenda and priorities are wars, elite billionaires, freaks and fringe groups like intermittent genders (male Tuesdays, female Wednesdays) instead of ordinary population, left the state with this mess. Over a million people left the state under this corporate elite (Another self proclaimed Zionist) corrupt Governor.

This woke fuck single handedly ruined this beautiful state. He will be evicted.
