Comments: Kamala Harris Gets a Boost From Nikki Haley Campaign Leader (msn.com)
Comments: KAmkAr in a country like Sweden with absolute free healthcare and advanced education the tax rate is around 55%. Here in the US, specially you folks not paying state tax in Texas, we pay much less.
Comments: I was watching the Sunday morning political spinning talk show. Then I got a flashback of the first 10 years I was here. In each election cycle at those times, the members of each party would come on TV and be a stunt advocate for their party candidate just like they do now. The difference is that at those times I always believed that what they were expressing about the candidate was their true sentiment. And then I found out that it was only party loyalty. It's like the party would order them all to lineup and praise their candidate. That's why I always liked the independent candidates that had no party affiliations.
Comments: Farzad, I understand your POV about the health system and the opposition to it because of fear of socialism. The weird thing is that even poor people have been brainwashed into thinking free healthcare and education is a bad thing. It's really not all that much free either. We're paying high taxes for all that.
Comments: I meant to apologize like Cyruss does.
Comments: I think I'd have to be proper like Cyruss to post football related news. Although we're only in the fifth week of IPL, I'm glad to see Malavan right behind Sepahan in the table. The new comer Khaybar hopefully can make it to the top half of the table too. Those are the two teams I'm rooting for. Today Isfahan derby should be a good one. They're both undefeated. So is Perspolis. Yesterday River beat Boca in Bombonera in a super exciting game. IMO that game is by far the most crazy in the world.

Comments: How soon Right wing Democrats forget President Obama Presents Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award
Comments: RFK Jr: “I’m going to be deeply involved in helping to choose the right people who can run FDA, NIH, and CDC.” DNC response: “The prospect of RFK Jr. choosing personnel for the FDA, NIH, and CDC should scare the daylights out of anyone who cares about public health."

Comments: Cyruss I know you mentioned that you are sitting this one out, But any which way I look at it there is no one thing right with this admin. From Neocons to NIACons (appeasing IRI) to cencorship and becoming the new right wing. Loose border. Being the adminstartion of wars and instability in the world. The Gaza ceasefire plans were all fake and only slogans to get Detroit votes. The one year Oct 7 annivarsarry coming up and ceasefire???. And on top of that the Healthcare corruption Ali.P talked about.
