Comments: By the way I know people that are genuinely horrified of the Project 2025 doctrine and people behind it. Everyday they send me thoughtful articles and remind me how bad it can get to get me more active in Harris's campaign
Comments: I see this as a parallel to the neocon argument. There are groups and ideologies that want to jump on and hijack a campaign or at least get some of their ideas into the party platform. The campaigns will also take advantage of the expertise and the followings of these groups but at the end it is not clear how much influence is exerted here to make drastic changes in the policies and actions of a president. One thing for sure is obvious to me that the 6-3 supreme court mix is not the true representative of how Americans feel about their society and there is a potential that this will get even worse for the upcoming few couple of decades

The group is independent of the Trump campaign, a fact Project 2025 and Trump himself have emphasized. "I know nothing about Project 2025," Trump said on social media in early July. But that's not the whole story. In practice, many of Trump's closest policy advisers and those likely to take high-ranking positions in his administration are heavily involved in the project.
For instance, former Trump administration official Russ Vought has played a major role in Project 2025. He also serves as the policy director of the Republican National Convention's platform committee, an appointment the campaign signed off on.

Yes there are flaws and nothing is perfect.. Electoral vote, there is debate about it. It is not just a BS, valid arguments on both sides. Comments: Yes, Like you, I'm very grateful for what this country has done for me. Not in my dreams I would have the lifestyle in my own homeland that I do here. You're right about the Al Gore and the W being 25 years old but what about the rest? electoral vote, gerrymandering, MIC, and the big money has been going on for ever. I do admire your passion and the incredible amount of insight that you discuss here and I learn from. I'm a news junkie myself and follow all the downs and ups. I have not missed a single presidential debate since Carter vs Reagan. I watch them as a source of entertainment because I know for a fact these people are only talking heads. The shit show doesn't get me excited. Democracy does not determine the outcome. But the same democracy allows me to speak my mind without bc consequences. That's what I like about the American democracy.

Comments: KAmkAr. Very good question. Well, first and foremost the reason is mainly for the country I love, and the country which I am so thankful and grateful for. But the specific answer. This new era is 25 years old. The answer is that for the first time someone outside of the establishment is coming in to clean up the house. If the alternatives were someone other than him, like Christie, Romney, Jebb Bush, Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, McCain (alive), and..... then sure you are 100% correct. It would not have mattered. The only difference between this asshole and all the other heavyweight alternatives is that he is not one of them. He is not from the establishment.
