Comments: Who are the Neocons? Why do they always want to war?“Neocons” are neoconservatives, a faction of the Republican party that came into prominence in the run-up to the Gulf War. They are mainly wealthy, white, educated, Establishment types who are always ready to promote US involvement in foreign wars (that people other than their own kids fight and die in). They are closely tied to the defense industry and the most famous neocon of all, DIck Cheney, was the former CEO of Halliburton which, of course, made out like a bandit in Iraq. These days the neocons have come out of the woodwork and been all over FOX demanding that we do more to support Ukraine, meaning WW III. The neocons also coincide with the Never-Trump faction of the Republican Party, so an obvious conclusion is that the neocons are using Ukraine to try to wrest control f the GOP from the Trump wing. Trump supporters—being “America First” types—generally do not like the idea of getting involved in wars abroad unless it directly affects American interests. Trump supporters are more focused on domestic issues like inflation and crime. Trump himself is a bind these days. If he comes out too dovish, he’ll be accused by the media of being “pro-Putin,” if too hawkish, he will alienate his own voters, and it not in his nature to be a warmonger. Lest you think its only the neoconservative Republicans are the only ones rattling the saber here, be assured that they have many Democratic allies. (ie. Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Anthony Blinken ). The Establishment of both parties in Washington DC seems to agree on only one thing and that is that war in good for business.
Comments: And if not decided by January 20th, senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa will become the acting president. And he is 10 years older than Biden. 😏
Comments: No. That is not how it works. It is not like majority vote of the house. Each state delegation gets one vote. Total of 50. The candidate with majority of state votes wins. Which can take forever. Since you need consensus by each state.
Comments: Goes to the house. House elects Trump for president, Senate elects the VP and we will have chaos
Comments: Oh. Ok. I thought you said I like Chaos. Quiz: what happens when it becomes 269-269 ?
Comments: So. No as a true democrat and advocate of peace, I cannot vote Bush / Cheney type of government in this very chaotic time who actually continue to do nothing but creating chaos, wars, and destructions. People like Harris or Biden are simply irrelevant. They just have to pave the way for them. Meanwhile they preach civil Liberty and how our democracy can be dismantled. Like are you fucking kidding me. Our democracy is so weak that anyone can topple it? 😀These stories are for kids and for those with not much depth.
Comments: The 269-269 tie is chaos that is what I was referring to. Dint get cranky
Comments: Nomination of Victoria Nuland by Biden as undersecretary of state for political affairs has sent an unmistakable signal to Moscow and, more importantly, to America’s European allies. In early 2014 Nuland was taped on a cell phone call with America’s ambassador to the Ukraine ordering the composition of the next Ukrainian government after the Maidan coup, in the tone of a colonial viceroy. Nuland explained that the UN was being enlisted in support and said, “That would be great, I think, and help glue this thing.” She added, “And, you know, fuck the EU.” German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the time denounced the remark as “unacceptable.” That sort of faux pas normally would rate being assigned a diplomatic mission to the South Pole, but such is Washington’s ideological fervor (Biden) that Nuland survived and resurfaced. Nuland is a neoconservative, a former deputy national security adviser to then-vice president Dick Cheney, as well as the spouse of Robert Kagan, one of the most right wing persistent advocates of global transformation via the projection of American power.
Comments: Delusions die hard. The obsession of American foreign policy after the fall of communism was pro-Western democracy in Russia, and the foreign policy establishment has never forgiven Vladimir Putin for returning Russia to the sort of authoritarian governance it has endured for all but a few brief years of its history. The obsession is back with Joe Biden – and, with it, the neoconservatives who dominated the failed administration of George W Bush. The United States government estimates that approximately 500,000 in the Ukrainian and Russian militaries have been killed on the battlefield to date. Shockingly, the real numbers are surely dramatically higher as both nations are known to deliberately undercount their casualties. Sorrowfully, those numbers don’t include the thousands of Ukrainian civilians killed or the millions who have fled the country.
Comments: Anyways. I do not vote personalities. I vote for issues and agendas. And I am not ideologic about the party. Republicans or democrats. I don't blindly assume someone is liberal, just because he or she is in Democratic Party. This nonsense war that the republicans neocons instigated in this admin must stop. Hundreds of thousands of innocent lives lost. They are very dangerous and in bed with current admin. And it is not a laughing matter.
Comments: This is Chaos. Endorsers of Harris. Democrats should have nothing to do with these warmonger Republicans. But for now they are their servant. She will need to execute to their will just like Biden did. Major endorsers. They are extremely dangerous. Kicked out by Obama , but Biden opened the back door for them and appeased them. Just like he appeased them in 2001. ![]() ![]() |
