Comments: Karim Sadjadpour always came around very astute.
Comments: Worth reading. Interview with Karim Sajjadpour نشست «جورجتاون» و ائتلاف مخالفان جمهوری اسلامی چرا فروریخت؟
Comments: One thing about Rasht is its proximity to then Soviet and Armenia. As result Jambon and sausages had huge fans in Rasht. Salami was also big. Back then they called Salami (kAlbase Khoshk) and Martedella (kAlbase tar). The tradition continues these days as well. Here is a supermarket in Rasht I visited with wide variety of sausages. All kinds from Austrian to Bratwurst to Hungarian. All here:
Comments: One thing about Rouhani which is interesting is that Trump did not sanction him. Zarif and Rahbar were sanctioned. And his real name was Ardeshir Fereidoon but then right before the revolution he became Hassan Rouhani. ▫️ https://radiftarin.com/link_page.php?id=240591
Comments: Fareed Zakaria's take on 2024 election ▫️
Comments: I saw the full game live. Good game but didn't have any impact on the standings in the table. They kept the same spot.
Comments: Saw the AV - LV highlights. What a game.
Comments: Shahin. I will listen.
Comments: Koskhola ![]()
Comments: Guys if you do not listen to these podcasts about mashrooteh by Amir Khadem, you will be missing a lot. https://mashruteh.podbean.com/ He has been putting one out once a month and still continuing
Comments: The Western Wall is free to visit and is open 24 hours a day, year-round. Women and men should dress modestly in the Western Wall Plaza. To pray at the wall, women should have their legs and shoulders covered (scarves are provided at the site). Men should cover their head. The Israeli Orthodox Jewish religious establishment is opposed to the services conducted by the Women of the Wall. Orthodox rabbis claim that even if such a manner of prayer is theoretically permitted by Jewish Law, it is against Jewish custom.
Comments: Agha Saeed, Yes I'm aware of those emotionally charged times. I, myself as a 18 year old kid, was one of them. A group of us burned down one of the movie theaters in my town. We're just one of the most emotional people in the world and that makes us very irrational at times. Just like our football teams. Our players play mostly based on their emotions that what the coach has told them to do.
Comments: Dear Kamkar, in the 70s there were mainly emotionally charged and instigated people. Some were very naive actually. I truly question their knowledge of real world. Just go and check even listening to golsorkhi. There is this guy at the other site who just said he did not know non Jews are allowed at the wall. He perhaps does not even know that the whole area around the wall is a tourist attraction. All of these non Jew catholic presidents and celebrities visited West Wall, prayed, and left a note in the wall cracks. He sees a picture of Reza Pahlavi at the wall and that is how he questioned whether non jews are allowed to pray. No other non-Jew visit to the wall like Obama, or Japanese prime minister made him ask that question. This has nothing to do with the genocide that Israel has committed in the past 7 months, and we all have to make voices and against genocide. That is just the limited level of their intelligence and roshannfekri. These are your roshanfekrs. These guys probably never visited a church or synagogue that every human soul is welcomed there. التماس مطالعه.
Comments: KamkAr, این یه سری کسخولای علاف رو ول کن. Shift your focus towards likes of Abbas Milani, Iraj Mesdaghi, even Zibakalam who were the so called chappis fighting the Pahlavi regime. بقیه کسخل و بیسواد هستند
Comments: Farzad, one cornerstone of our culture is Namak Nashnasi. That father and son, regardless of all their shortcomings, took over a country that belonged to the stone ages and changed it to what it was in 57. Those "leftist/intellectuals" who in my opinion started the shooresh deserve what's coming to them now. I always thought that Shah was even more to the left of those leftist assholes who were paying 2 rial for koobideh.
