Trump rejects Netanyahu's call to spark Iran uprising; They will get mowed down

US President Donald Trump rejected a proposal from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to jointly call on Iranians to rise up against their government, warning it could put civilians at serious risk, according to a report by Axios.

Citing US and Israeli sources, Axios reported that Trump pushed back during a call last week, arguing that such a move could lead to bloodshed rather than change.

"Why the hell should we tell people to take to the streets when they'll just get mowed down," Trump told Netanyahu, according to a US official briefed on the conversation.

The report highlights a key difference between Washington and Tel Aviv despite broad alignment on military goals in the ongoing war. While Netanyahu has identified triggering a popular uprising as a central objective, US officials say Trump views regime change as secondary — more of a "bonus" than a primary aim.

قالیباف، که از فرماندهان سابق سپاه پاسداران است و از چهره‌های بانفوذ در ساختار قدرت جمهوری اسلامی به شمار می‌رود، یکی از معدود مقام‌های ارشد جمهوری اسلامی است که از موج حملات هوایی اخیر جان سالم به در برده است. به گزارش وال‌استریت ژورنال، آمریکا خواهان حضور قالیباف در هرگونه گفت‌وگوی احتمالی صلح است، موضوعی که نگرانی‌ها را در تهران افزایش داده است.

در همین حال، مقام‌های جمهوری ادعا می‌کنند که تصمیم دونالد ترامپ برای به تعویق انداختن حملات به زیرساخت‌های انرژی ایران اقدامی تاکتیکی بوده است. به گفته آن‌ها و همچنین برخی مقام‌های عربی که با تهران در تماس‌اند، این تعویق ممکن است با هدف کنترل قیمت‌ جهانی نفت در کوتاه‌مدت صورت گرفته باشد، پیش از آنکه حملات دوباره از سر گرفته شود.

Glamorous Iranian 'spy' sisters accused of infiltrating American big tech to steal secrets

A pair of Iranian sisters has been accused of acting as spies on behalf of the regime to steal secrets from American big tech.

A federal grand jury has indicted Samaneh Ghandali, 41, her sister Soroor Ghandali, 32, and Mohammadjavad Khosravi, 40, on charges of stealing highly sensitive trade secrets from Google and other major technology firms and funneling the data to Iran.

The trio, all residents of San Jose, were arrested in mid-February and hauled into federal court the same day, according to prosecutors.

Authorities said the alleged scheme unfolded quietly inside some of the world's most powerful tech companies, where the defendants held trusted roles giving them access to cutting-edge systems.

Trump: Iran gave US a present worth a ton of money, related to oil, gas and Hormuz

US President Donald Trump says that Iran gave him a “present” worth a “tremendous amount of money” related to the Strait of Hormuz and matters of oil and gas.

Asked by reporters in the Oval Office why he trusts the Iranians, he first insists that he doesn’t trust anyone before revealing, “They did something yesterday that was amazing — they gave us a present… that arrived today.”

“It was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money, and I’m not going to tell you what that present is, but it was a very significant prize,” Trump says.

“They gave it to us, and they said they were going to give it. That meant one thing to me. [That we’re] dealing with the right people… They’re the only ones [who] could have done it.”

“It wasn’t nuclear related, it was oil and gas related,” he adds when pressed to clarify the nature of the gift.

Asked if the gift is related to the flow in the Strait of Hormuz, Trump responds, “Yeah.” Asked if the US will control Hormuz after the war, Trump says, “We’ll have control of anything we want.”

“I think we’re going to end [the war],” he adds.

Trump quips that when he told his defense secretary and military chief that he thinks the Iran war will be settled soon, the latter two were upset because they want to keep fighting.
