Cyruss, It is at the discretion of the president. Just like it was at his dicression to levi 145% on China and with the rest of the world at 10%. He can do that.

Cyruss, before I respond, I really dont have anything to say as the devil is in the details. But establish a know how on what is going on in the world economy and where it is going regardless of who the president is and then we can talk intelligently. Understand why tariffs, understand our debt, understand that status quo leads to end of American dominance, understand interest rates and why it is so important, specially now.  

Yeah you need to understand the tariffs and trades fully. It is not just about the numbers like 6% tariffs or zero percent. It is not about that number. It is really about Trade barriers (nonsense regulations in place which disallows US to export to many countries including EU, Japan, Australia, Singapore and China. Both friends and foes).

And Trade defecit. You can't just be asking me to buy your stuff, but you don't comitt to buy ours. Anyways, you can call it whatever you want, MAGA or whatever, but I care about my beloved county and I want to see nothing but gratness here. I know others may not feel the same. And may see themselves as second class citizens just in terms of patriotic standpoint.  

This is an Australian economist who basically paints the picture... Knowledge always is good. This is very educational. And then you see how the western world is totally screwed .
