Comments: Shahin, I don’t complain enough!!! 😜 I agree that life and expectations changes with age. America is better for younger generations who are willing and eager to push themselves hard to make money and advance in their careers. That gets old and tiring after 50s. Most people burn out by then. I was one of those in my 50s. I refused better paying jobs with better titles. I looked for a more relax job and been doing it for the past few years. 60s and 70s should not be for working at all. No one should work more than 30 years. It should be time to truly relax. That is when southern Europe becomes more attractive. Another thing I noticed in Europe is the fact that elderly are usually with a family member. They go out together with the kids and grandkids. That seems to be less of that in America these days. Either way, it’s a personal preference and choice. Nowhere is perfect for everyone.

Comments: Shahin, It is harvest time in Kerman. Lots of pistachios... it was a good year. really a good year. Kerman is a very por barkat province. You'd think it is desert, but from Pomegranade in Sirch to Dates in Bam to Kiwi in Bardsir and zardaloo and gilas in Sirjan it is really a harvesting land. I love Kerman. I really do. Comments: My Iranian / Armenian friend who got laid off from here after 25 years of service, started going to Armenia evey year. He is the happiest guy now. he bought an apartment in the beverly hills of Yerevan. Everyday he sends me video of food and entertainment and nice people. And claims that it is dirt cheap. He lives 6 months in Armenia of Caucus and 6 months in Armenia of US (Glendale). He is having a ball.

Also filing for bankruptcy is a financial gain thing, it doe snot mean you are destroyed :-) Filing for bankruptcy does not mean you lost your house or other things. The filing just means to tell the creditors "leave me alone" in a legal manner. I know some who dont pay their credit card bills. |
