Comments: yeah most of the stuff I watch on YT is typically less than 15 min. But depending on the subject and who is who then I watch those even longer. Milani stuff since it is mostly research and fact finding, I listen a lot. I waste no time on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, or other mainstram media unless it is live football. no actvities on Twitter, instagram, Facebook, tiktok, Telegram, and...
Comments: Either way. Thank you for sharing. I do watch and learn from most of them if not all.
Comments: I waste no time on twitter, instagram, Facebook, tiktok, Telegram, and...
Comments: Toilet, daily walk (whenever i do), driving to work and coming back home, late night before going to bed, In the office while doing paperwork, (I also do not have much household chores to do).
Comments: On the toilet
Comments: Farzad, How in the world do you find time to watch all these long clips? Don't take me wrong. They are all great and informative but...really how? :))
Comments: Both videos (audio is enough) are great to listen.
Comments: And then introduction of a new book by Abbas Milani on "Reza Shah". He believes that the overthrow of Pahlavi regime by Akhunds was essentially overthrow of "Reza Shah" by Akhunds. Interesting viewpoint here by Milani.

Comments: We all are cousins one way or another! Some closer than others 😊 Did I talk about the grid and solar energy too much? It’s not necessarily a passion but necessity for my work. I’m sure in few years when I retire, I would not give a damn about it one way or another! By the way, you all need to put solar panels in your house. It’s pretty cool and you can tell others you saving the planet.😜

Comments: By the way, when I said below my cousin, I did not mean Zinsky
Comments: Zinsky: It's all about someone's interest. For example, I have no interest in how electrical grid works that is why I do not even want to start looking into solar for my house but I am really interested to know why US is now behind in chip manufacturing and what is being done. Now you may have a valid question as why Farzad keep telling us this . But I think he wants to share his passion just like when you want to share your passion with the electric grid
Comments: Yes Farzad. Makes sense.
Comments: My cousin works for a software company CEO is Israeli but lives in US. They have a good size operation in Tel Aviv. They actually have an internal quota set aside when they hire to make sure they also hire Palestinian Arabs. I also have regular conversation with an older American Jewish intellectual also a liberal Jew and actually liberal American. I have learned a lot about what is going on in Israel and how liberal & Israeli jews think. They are very much like secular liberal Iranians laughing at religious myths and despising their orthodox & uneducated folks and how someone like Bibi takes advantage of them. As American jews, they are also crystal clear as why they have such a connection to Israel which is hard to explain from our advantage but it is embedded in their DNA. I may not agree with all of it but certainly appreciate and so glad I learned about it |
