Comments: 2.4B barrel/day! I’m assuming you mean million not billion. 2.4 million X 80/barrel is $192 million/day. I don’t know if we should consider the revenue as “sell price - cost” or not but let’s move on with sales. 192X360 is about $70 billion/year. 8 years in office makes it $553 billion overall. Now let’s do revenue. Iran has some of the least expensive cost to extract oil. It’s about $10/barrel. With that in mind the revenue will be $485 billion for 8 years. Please check my math. I’m getting old and basic math is not as easy! It’s a lot of money. I’m sure most of it was stolen and shipped to other countries and used to feed the proxies. Still, it’s about half of $800 billion. It’s always good to do the math before making a case.

Comments: Probably the right figure was 600 to 700 Billion. why was it equivalant to the past 100 years?, because oil was cheap. In 1971 oil was like 2.90 a barral. In 2010 it was over $100.
Comments: ok found this... The Central Bank of Iran reports oil exports during the 2005-2012 as $639 billion. That is what I said below, I gave him 200 billion dicount.

Let's say it was not 800 billion. And let's give him 200 billion discount. Let's say he made 600 billion. This was still more than 585 billion made before him in the history of oil income in iran mentioned.

Comments: Zinsky, that has nothing to do with 800 billion during AN. The AN things has been around and proved. Just google. Even during Rouhani that figure was high. I think Rouhani time it was like near 400-500 billion. It was during Iraq war. Oil prcess were high, Iraq was not pumping oil. Kuwait's production was lower. All OPEC countries did well actually. Had nothing to do with number of daily barrals oil price was very high.
Comments: Hi. I read both sites and post once in a blue moon when there is a red and blue game. I know many of the characters. Specially Farzad Faramarz Gorbi and Shahin. There used to be another Ali. What I observed is the two sites are separated because of political views on Iran. There is no question that the other site is more IRI friendly in general with some anti West sentiments. That does not not mean everyone there is pro IRI. But Faramarz Keefer mashghasem and Rahim are without a question pro IRI and anti West. They cannot even hide it. The other guys there like shahriar rashti or Zinsky I like and respect a lot. They don't rock the boat and I am sure they know well on how everyone thinks over there.

Comments: This is why we can’t believe the numbers coming from IRI including the $800 billion! Latest figures released by OPEC reveal a significant discrepancy between Iran's recent claims about its oil production and the actual data. The report was released on Thursday, a day after the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Managing Director Mohsen Khojasteh-Mehr – a deputy oil minister -- claimed that the country's daily oil production would surge by 250,000 barrels to reach 3.5 million barrels by the end of summer, meaning that the current figure stands at 3.25 million barrels. However, the latest OPEC statistics suggest that Iran's daily oil production amounts to only 2.828 million barrels, indicating a substantial gap of 422,000 barrels with the Islamic Republic’s figure. Furthermore, OPEC's new figures highlight that Iran's oil production experienced an 11% growth in the first seven months of the current year, yet the country's oil price has plummeted by over 24%. Iran's daily oil production increased by 274,000 barrels until July, still falling short by a million barrels compared to the reported 3.8 million barrels it used to produce prior to sanctions imposed by the United States. |
