Shahin, You don’t catch my point. It is about the dangerous power of the Neocon Republicans. They hijacked the democratic Party. The foreign policy is so huge whether you like it or not whether you agree or not. US‘s top priority is international dominance. No ifs and buts about it. Be it during Bushes, Clinton, Obama, Trump, or Biden.  That never changes.  We all accept that and as a citizen of this great country why not. Every president and admin is cognizant of it.

The issue is that these Neoconservative Republicans want to hold on to their power and the special interests so bad, that they are now doing all kinds of wrong doings with censoring and doing character assassination of any threat.  That is what Republicans used to do.   From RFK assassination to the Watergate.

Elimination of Trump or JFK jr is not about the Democratic values you advocate, it is about sustaining the power of the NeoCons, as they are the only voices out there who counter the Republican NeoCons.

Establishment candidates like Christie or De Santis or Pence or Marianne Williamson, they don’t talk about NeoCons and therefore they are left alone.

That is why RFK jr is being eliminated at any cost.  They are throwing a Democrat comrade of yours who bears every single democratic values you do, under the bus right in front of your eyes. So that they can stay in power   and continue wars and militarism. The GWB version of US Domination. US (Biden) is in a war. Who are we kidding. And we instigated it.

You can’t be fighting 35 years for environment be named Time Magazine’s “Heroes for Planet” , and then be labeled “Dangerous” by your own party members.

You can’t be campaigning for Obama, Kerry, and Al Gore and then be labeled by your own party members with terms like “antisemitic or Hitler”

You can’t be advocate of safe vaccine products and then be labeled by your own party members an “antivaxxer”

You can’t be calling Trump a “Dangerous and deceptive”, and then Democrat, your own party members associate you with “Trump.”

It is a very dangerous time for the whole globe out there with NeoCons in charge. That is my point.

Trust me you don’t want this incompetent puppet democratic admin to send justice to Supreme Court.

And if you are surprised that democrats started, you have to keep in mind that the democrats of the past in terms of political philosophy were the Republicans of now mostly. Starting in the 50’s that criss - cross transition kind of started with equality and civil right movements.
Most of Black voters left the Republican Party and switched to Democrats as they saw the new Democratic Party promoting justice and equality. That is how big the transition was.

Zinsky, not sure what your question is.  I mentioned who they are and how it all started. How is it different than google.

No Zinsky. Not quite. Neoconservatism is more of an ideology or movement. First started in 60s when the so called "liberal Hawks" became disappointed and fed up with the soft foreign policy of the Democratic Party and with the growing Left during Vietnam war.

Neoconservatives agenda and philosophy supposedly promotion of democracy and interventionism globally. Just like how they promoted democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan.

These Neoconservatives became political think thanks in the Republican presidential administrations of since Nixon, peaking in influence during the administration of GWB, when they played a major role in promoting and planning the 2003 invasion of Iraq. And now infested in Biden administration. Them being in this administration there are no arguments about it, but all of a sudden they became nice guys and liberal that's a different story. It is like 4 years from now Shahin claiming that circumstances changed and Trump has now changed and he is a very nice and liberal guy. 😂😀

Essentially neoconservatives are described as foreign policy makers and war hawks who support aggressive militarism.

It is a doctrine / movement / ideology of some sort.

“Ok let’s get the facts straight. Let’s not just throw something in the air hoping it sticks somewhere.”
My google could be wrong but it’s not any better/worse than anyone else’s!!!
Once again, neoconservatives were bunch of democrats who went against liberal policies and values they found to be too far left!

I don't think Biden is an all out Neocon. He is pragmatic but he does make mistakes. I also think he has learned from Iraq's fiasco. He is now not much different than Obama & Bill Clinton. They choose war on a case by case basis. Clinton went into Kosovo and Obama went into Libya. Obama did not go to Iran and so far Biden is avoiding that as well. Trump may go into a war if he becomes president. I do not see this as black and white as you do. In addition domestic policies matter a lot to me and I do not want to see Republicans choose more justices at Supreme court and federal level. You can come at me with a very strong language accusing me of loving murderers and criminals but it is not as black & white as you try to portrait me

I don’t think so. He was different and fresh. Being black was a bonus but not enough to get anyone elected.

Zinsky, hope I don't come across as someone who's speaking purely based on emotions about Obama. I feel that he won and was appointed to the office mostly because he was black. That's not to say that he was not smart. He was well spoken and a strong speaker. In my book he was just like all other presidents nothing but a talking head (spokesperson if you will) to the system and the establishment. Some even considered him to be an uncle Tom. My bottom line is that we should not invest our time and emotions in any prostitute politicians. I've learned to kick back and enjoy watching the shit show during the selections. But I have to admit that with all it's shortcomings, the system has created a great and free place to live. My country of birth did not allow me to have Kurdish names for my sons. This country for most parts celebrates the diversity.

I still believe he has no chance. There is no way these thugs will allow that. They assassinate him if they have. He is actually concerned about his life. That is why he asked for secret service protection. He does believe the establishment killed his father and his uncle. Anyways again him winning the primary is not going to happen even though his decision to run for the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination is supported by over 30 percent of voters who backed Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

RFK Jr has been an environmentalist and fighting those against climate change for 35 years. He has advocated for the protection of waterways, indigenous rights, and renewable energy. Again credible enough that Obama tapped him to be administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.

RFK Jr also endorsed and campaigned for Vice President Al Gore during his 2000 presidential campaign, he also endorsed John Kerry, noting his strong environmental record, and he also campaigned for Obama. Did you really not know these facts? and now you take the bait just because Wasserman called him a Hitler and antisemitic?. You call him the same thing? And now from campaigning for Obama Gore and Kerry he is a right wing now? That easy? Are you telling me that Al Gore, Kerry and Obama were that far off on their judgments?. I don't think so. They were all very smart and great people and very balanced. But now whatever Wasserman say, let's take the bait and run with it?

These are the people who care about America. They do not have strong prejudice in favor of the party. When they see their party going right wing they call on it. So who changed here? Did RFK changed in the values he believe or is it the Democratic Party that changed?

Anyways your unconditional support of the party is commendable. You should actually be more active with DNC specially during the retirement. I am not kidding.  Your allegiance to the party is commendable.

Shahin. No. There are many good democrats who are balanced and operate both domestic and foreign policies in a balanced manner. Bill Clinton and Obama are great examples of those. It was the right wing neocons who plotted the Monica thing against Bill Clinton in his 2nd term and smeared him and forced their way into the Whitehouse after his 8 years.

Yes the presidents execute to the strategic continuity as you alluded to. And as you and I agree their tactics are different. That is why Obama kicked theses mother fuckers out and his way of continuity was through for example Arab Springs and all. Even when he drew a red line for Assad and Assad crossed it he did not do much of escalation through all out war.

I used to be just like you. Black and white. I used to blindly vote for all the propositions or people who had Democratic Party support.

Foreign policy is 80% of the job of the US president. That is why they are called world leader. I am actually surprised that a liberal like you from SF is now ok with these warmonger Neocons. Neocons are the right of the right wing but now just because they are in bed with Democrats you support them. But I still hesitate to label you or accuse you as someone who is coming across as an ultra right wing person.

These people should be in Hague and be prosecuted for what they did to humanity and also be prosecuted domestically for lying to the people of the United States. Neocons and Liberals are mutually exclusive. And I just do not understand as a liberal your unconditional support of these warmongers all of a sudden.

Your affinity is with the Democratic Party. As longs as anyone aligned with that party they have your full support. Anyone says otherwise is a right wing or they all elements of Russian propaganda.

More googling!!!
During the late 1960s up until the 1970s, neoconservatives were worried about the Cold War and that its liberalism was turning into radicalism, thus many neoconservatives including Irving Kristol, Norman Podhoretz and Daniel Patrick Moynihan wanted Democrats to continue on a strong anti-communist foreign policy.[12] This foreign policy was to use Soviet human rights violations to attack the Soviet Union.[12] This later led to Nixon's policies called détente.[12]
In 1973, Michael Harrington coined the term, "neo-conservatism", to describe those liberal intellectuals and political philosophers who were disaffected with the political and cultural attitudes dominating the Democratic Party and were moving toward a new form of conservatism.[13] Intended by Harrington as a pejorative term, it was accepted by Kristol as an apt description of the ideas and policies exemplified by The Public Interest. Unlike liberals, for example, neo-conservatives rejected most of the Great Society programs sponsored by Lyndon B. Johnson and, unlike traditional conservatives, they supported the more limited welfare state instituted by Franklin D. Roosevelt.
