Comments: When you educate people with the truth, true history, for them to understand good from bad and fake from real people just like you and I will only laugh at these but that video itself should not be a decision tool for someone to chose if they want monarchy or not. Comments: kAmkAr, America was the best place to live, by far. I’m not sure if it’s still the best for any newcomers. For us, who lived here most of our lives, it is still the best but anyone who wants to come, study and start their lives, I’m not sure. Imagine a young person with limited funds comes here today. Cost of living including the tuition, rent, food and possible medical expenses could be out of reach for majority. When I came here nearly 40 years ago, I got zero help from my parents and could do all that by working 25-30 hours a week and take 3-4 courses each semester. It took 5.5 years to get my BS degree but it was doable. Not anymore

Comments: Shahin, Good points. Unfortunately, everything needs to be looked at in the most extreme way these days. Teaching the history of slavery in America should not cause major problems. It’s the fact and knowing the truth is not controversial, or shouldn’t be. For some reason, it was pushed to the limit by some to see it as while people are all bad and racist. It’s unfortunate reality that most rich, white people back in early America owned and traded slaves. It went on for a long time and was horrible. Some of the biggest heroes in American history fall into this category. Same goes with American obsession with wars. America is a young country but has been in more wars than any other country. What makes it worse is that they were in wars not near their borders. America is the only country that used nuclear bombs. They have been involved in wars in every single continent. It’s the truth and needs to be told. Democrats are talking about censorship when it comes to vaccines and people distorting the truth or coming up with “alternative facts”. They do go to far in some cases but overall not as bad as republicans who want to censor the history. Banning books or performances by people they don’t like!

Comments: Farzad: The circumstances that one leaves a political party vs another are different. You tend to lump them up together. Same when US gets involved militarily. Kosovo, Libya, Iraq & Ukraine is all different. The reason Gabbert left is different than some democrat in a red state that the only way to get re-elected is to run as Republican. Comments: I get it. This is not the same Democratic Party we had 20 years ago. Nor is the Republican Party of 20 years ago. Both parties have changed and adjusted to what they believe is the winning strategy. I don’t like the new democratic approach but hate the new republican plan even more. I consider myself in the middle but being there is very confusing. I either have to go with kAmkAr and just forget about voting or engaging or vote for the least hated ideology. Neither is what I want but … I have to disagree on what happened and the reactions we saw during Trump. BLM was something that was happening for years. It just needed a moment to blow! Covid was an international pandemic. Somehow people relate that to Trump. He did mess up the reaction but Covid was not invented to get rid of Trump. I remember you were very upset with IRI and how they handled the whole thing. Letting Chinese planes to land in Iran. Not talking it seriously! I’m not sure how/why Covid became Covid. It could have been a mistake or an intentional act. It could have been part of a larger plot. It could have been a way to make $$$$$$$ out of it or maybe… That’s not the point! It wasn’t invented nor was it used to get rid of Trump at the start. It did help others to use it to make Trump look weak and stupid but without it, he would have done something more crazy either way!
Comments: One thing I learned that is so important is you have to get to know the players, their history, and what they have done. In the Anita Hill vs Clarance Thomas, he sided with the ultra conservative Clarance Thomas and put him in the Supreme Court for life. A democrat with Democratic values does not do that.
Comments: I was mostly joking Zinsky. As I mentioned, I am a registered democrat. Never in my life voted Republicans. Not even in 2016 when Trump was running. But in 2020 I did, simply because 1) He is not a loyal party line Republican, and that is why many republicans hated him, and 2) I despise warmongers and Neoconservatives since GWB and I knew what they were up to. The 4 years of Trump other than pissing contest with NATO, Russia, China, and Europe I did not see a new war or further escalation of wars. I always knew Trump was anti war. Because he always said it Even 30 years ago. Again not because he is a humanitarian, it just did not add up for him economically. BLM, George Floyed, Lysol and all Covid stuff were all shit show created by those who wanted Trump out by any means. Same reason they are piling it on him with indictment and ... because he is a threat and if he becomes president he will disrupt the neocons agenda. RFK Jr is also a threat because with him in the game, specially as an independent, he will take votes away from Biden and then Trump wins. Otherwise last year in Buffalo some fuck goes to grocery store and kills 15 African Americans and Black Lives did not matter. No riots. BLM only matters when CNN says it matters. all of the democrats I mentioned they are after saving the party and not betray the party. It is the party that betrayed them.

I know it is difficult to grasp, I know that it is hard to believe that the Democratic Party has changed, these people who are criticizing the party are actually liberal democrats. But if you are an avid party loyalist and want to stick to the party by any means then you don't care which way the party goes as long as it is called Democratic Party. As Maher said democrats are now bashing Abraham Lincoln. I will not be surprised soon, very soon, they start bashing John F Kennedy. Who else has to leave the party, so that we can say, wait a minute! Something is wrong here. And the alternative is not Trump. Put pressure on the party and make them understand that they need to get back on the track rather than worrying about Trump. This negative exposure of Democratic Party does not mean move towards Trump.
