You voted a "very stable genius" into the most powerful office in the world, not because he was wise, or honest, or capable, but because he was a wrecking ball aimed at a system you believed humiliated you. Because you were angry and you wanted someone to hurt. You didn’t care what he broke, as long as someone else paid for your resentment. You chose a man who breaks rules, because you were tired of following them. You cheered as he attacked ‘elites,’ while tweeting from his golden toilet, handing your future to billionaire robber barons, your healthcare to private insurers, and your grandmother’s Social Security to the war machine. You called him a fighter. But he never fought for you. He just bullies the people you’ve always blamed for your own failures. Immigrants, the poor, and the powerless. He punches down, and you call it justice. You said you wanted freedom. But you handed it to a man who turned fear into policy, jailing protestors, silencing dissent, and ruling like a mob boss. You wrapped cruelty in the language of morality. You draped your fear in the flag of patriotism. You claimed it wasn’t about race, but somehow, every policy just happened to draw the same racial/color line. You told yourself it was about law and order. But what you really meant is order for you. Punishment for everyone else. And now the damage is no longer abstract, theoretical, or over there. Your job doesn’t exist anymore. Your 401k is bleeding out. Your prescriptions cost more. Your town with fewer teachers, fewer nurses, and more closed signs. Your veterans are waiting months for care. Your parents are wondering if their benefits are safe. Your kids are learning less, eating worse, and growing up in a country that's successfully reviving the measles, because, you know, vaccines bad, death and suffering good! Congratulations, you got your way. But no, you won't own it. That's not the coward's way. You've got to find someone else to blame. I got it "People are just not patient enough!" You voted for this. When it started to fall apart, you defended it at every step. When the cruelty became undeniable, you said it was necessary. When the corruption was exposed, you said it was fake news. When the economy cracked under the weight of the dear leader's ego, you screamed it was patriotism. You chose this. You normalized the damage. Protected it. Wore it like a badge.
