Witkoff says any nuclear deal must ‘eliminate’ Iran’s enrichment

White House special envoy Steve Witkoff said Tuesday that any agreement with Iran must “eliminate” uranium enrichment in the country and efforts to construct a nuclear program. 

“A deal with Iran will only be completed if it is a Trump deal,” Witkoff said in a statement from his office’s official X account. “Any final arrangement must set a framework for peace, stability, and prosperity in the Middle East — meaning that Iran must stop and eliminate its nuclear enrichment and weaponization program.”

“It is imperative for the world that we create a tough, fair deal that will endure, and that is what President Trump has asked me to do,” said Witkoff, who on Saturday commenced nuclear talks with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

Autism rate rises to 3% of children in CDC study

One out of 31 children — more than 3% of kids — have been identified with autism, according to the latest results published Tuesday from a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study that tracks trends of autism's prevalence across some communities in the U.S.

"They've again gone up dramatically, just in two years. We have in some states as low as 1 out of 20 boys having autism, 1 out of 31 kids. And when I was, in my generation today, the rate of autism was 1 in 10,000," Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Tuesday in Indiana, announcing the new findings. "And this is just one disease. This whole generation of kids is damaged by chronic disease."

Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann unloaded on Bill Maher on Saturday after the "Real Time" host revealed some details from his meeting with President Donald Trump.

"BTW don't overanalyze Maher prostituting himself to Trump, Maher works for the same fascists at Warner who took over and corrupted CNN," Olbermann wrote on X Saturday.

During Maher's "Real Time" segment, he called out liberals and other critics who took issue with him meeting with Trump at all.

"And I know as I say that, millions of liberal sphincters just tightened. ‘Oh, my God, Bill, you gonna say something nice about him?’ What I'm going to do is report exactly what happened," Maher said, adding he "didn't go MAGA. And to the president's credit, there was no pressure to."
