Comments: Totally agree with Farzad on that. This was an American initiated war. They got Putin cornered. He had nowhere to go.
Comments: He had no choice... Had he not .. his security was in trouble. Just imagine China or Iran or Russia sends troops to Mexico next to our border to protect them. Would our president just sit back and says it is ok, because otherwise he will be called a mad man?
Comments: I'm just at awe with all the screw up presidents that we've had like the last three, how come we're still the country that all others want to come to and enjoy the relatively good life. I guess the answer is in having a huge economy that's hard to pull down. Just like when we think rich people have happy lives, it's because they solve most of their problems with money. Another example would be our country of birth. Isn't that mind bugling how it's not even worse than north Korea with all the wasteful policies! Again the reason is money. With oil and other resources they've been able to keep going.
Comments: You dig into the depth of what is happening and almost everyone (except those with evil interests) unanimously agree that this was a total instigation against Russia by West. With Russia being 11th in world economy, it seemed it was feasible to weaken them militarily. The whole idea was for Russia to run out of weapons and ammunition... Anyways.. there should be a ceasefire, there should be an election in Ukraine, as last year's election was put on hold by Zelenskyy due to war. Nothing should put that election on hold after the ceasfire.
Comments: So he got pissed off and decided to start a war killing more than a million from both sides. Now that is a mad man if you ask me
Comments: But We instigated it.. We pissed Putin OFF by keep Shoving NATO into his throat. We promised we do not do that. All we had to do was stop talking Ukraine and NATO and 2014 under Obama and 2022 under Biden would not have happened. Why do we instigate and fuck with a crazy many with Nuclear Bomb.
Comments: Ali.P, Newsom is also coming up with his podcast https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D91bfdewt-0&t=191s
Comments: I don't want that to happen, but want my president to use his leverage on Putin
Comments: Ali P. No. None of us watched him. I did once. Not my cup of tea Farzad, to me Crimea is out of question. It's gone and no way it'll be returned. I'm talking about the current war. But I tell you I actually enjoy to see the western European countries going so gooz pich dealing with Trump. Those countries have done so many sick deeds in our part of the world that they're deserving what they're getting from Trump and company. Just a small tiny bit of their own medicine.
Comments: "This may go towards EU/NATO replacing US resources including offensive weapons" Shahin, that is what everyone trying to avoid. This will essentially mean WWIII. What's up with this war appetite...
Comments: Ali.P Both my children do... My Daughter actually lives in Austin. My son alos listens to Sagaar Enjeti.
Comments: No Ali P., they don't
Comments: KAmkAr, two things I need to say. Here is the difference: Remember Blinken would go to Netenyahu or Netenyahu would come here and talk ceasefire behind closed door (Which in spirit there was no ceasefire) and then Blinken would go to implement it and then last thing they talked about was ceasfire? The difeerence here is What You See Is What You Get. The shit show you mentioned is in a way transparency. The mineral deal provides presence of United States in Ukraine. That is the whole point. There will be no Nato but there will be American presence and AMerican interests that no one should dare to fuck with.
Comments: This may go towards EU/NATO replacing US resources including offensive weapons and then Trump needs to decide if he will be on the Russian side. It is will be a tough situation for him |
