Comments: KAmkAr as I said 2 things happened. One was the unprecedented wind and gust of 80-90 mph in the coast area. That means 2- the choppers and superscoopers could not fly. There is no way that fire could have been controlled in any way or shape. It happened in a very populated area. It could just have been minimized by doing the necessary prep. The blame on the authorities are mainly because of lack of water and defunding the FD here in a state that fires are the way of life. That is quite embarrassing. The only thing is that with this vast devastation the death toll so far has been minimal. And it mostly happened those who did not heed the evacuation orders. This is very commendable.

He said that when the Plasco building in Tehran caught in fire, the government was blamed and criticized harshly. I think in coming days there will be a semi uprising against the Woke governor.

Comments: Technically and literally the only place that should be called swampland in California, is the La Cienega region of Los Angeles :) it Is literally built over the old swamps of LA. Even the Spanish word La Cienega translates to swamp in English :)

Comments: Shahin thanks, we got an evacuation warning but thankfully the fire in our area was contained very quickly, got very lucky.
