Comments: Farzad That young guy was 100% correct. Mosaddeq was a lefty whom the Shah knew could pose danger to Iran if not confronted.
Comments: You gotta be buzzed to watch this. You actually see a lot of these things these days. Basically Akhunds critiquing Islamic republic. It's 2 hours. But you can just start watching at any point for 5 minutes and you get entertained. Not sure if these guys are running for the upcoming election ▫️

Comments: Kamkar: Actually the Nasiri guy brought this up. The asshole Mohebinia, ex-Majlis guy was saying that the citizens in the west everybody is against their own governments regarding Gaza, but people had the right to demonstrate against their government. He also mentioned that the regime could not even get 10K people in support of the Palestinians which shows people's attitude disgusted with all the money that has been sent over there

Comments: That's pretty weird but In regards to criticizing the country of our adoption, I don't see anything wrong with calling out when things are wrong. I happened to dislike many things here. Like the gun issue, bad health care, expensive higher education plus aggressive foreign policy. After all it's only through criticism that changes come about.
Comments: and many leave our country and end up defending the system that made them leave and bad mouth the country and the system that made them prosper. Just maddening
Comments: Shahin, that was exactly the point that Nasiri was making in that discussion. He said SA and others have a much better dictatorship than ours because they care and provide for their people.
Comments: If I was a citizens of any of these Persian Gulf countries and even Saudi Arabia, I will be very happy & proud. I spoke to a 18 & 19 year old young Qatari brother & sister with mom sitting around. Their dad was at work on some telecommunication company, the boy was going to Qatar University and the girl was getting into another university, one of these branches of an American Universities like Carnagie or Northeastern. Spoke excellent English and were not looking to leave the country to get a college education. Very happy & proud.
Comments: Farzad: I was reading this and made me think about you. San Francisco guy is sad about the Christmas trees people are throwing out. Makes you wanna cry ![]() https://www.sfgate.com/local/article/photographer-book-curb-christmas-trees-sf-ny-18601412.php
Comments: Farzad: I tend to agree with you on these eslahtalabs but this guy was calling Khomeini, "Aghaye Khomeini" and was looking for regime change. The two other osool gara journalists first they were saying that there is freedom in Iran and their evidence was this guy being able to freely wanting barandazi. Then they implied that this guy was part of the regime and he is a soopap because even though they are osoolgara they have to go to vezarate ershad once a month. Nasisri's answer which I think applies to Narges Mohammadi is that the regime does a crude cost/benefit analysis to see when someone is beneficial like him (you can include zibakalam) to say all theses things to show freedoms in the country and when it sees a real threat they will jail them accordingly.
This Nasiri guy on instagram is also promoting the other video you posted. I was thinking that this guy (ex-akhound) and some others are planning for after the barandazi. He let that slip in this discussion as well
Comments: I actually do not see that as sad. Good for them. Sure, it is a pity for us Iranians. Glad to see Qatar playing good football.
Comments: AFIF, the goal scorer is spelled FIFA backwards.
Comments: During the last WC I said that the only country in the middle east that deserved hosting the games was Iran. I didn't mean IRI of course because there is no way the FIFA would even consider it. It's sad to see all these other Persian Gulf countries having the spotlights and we're looking worse each single day. SA hosting el clásico, Qatar now with Asian cup right after the WC. Something I noticed when the top two SA teams were playing, the spectators were wearing normal Western style clothing not their full white outfit. I'm thinking that's a part of MBS plans to give a new outlook to the country. Kind of what happened during the end of Ghajars.
Comments: Qatar vs Lebanon. 8 AM pacific. Paramount plus.
Comments: Sometimes we have to wonder and question why a Nargess Mohammadi, head of anti hijab and feminist movement in iran and a vocal proponent of mass feminist civil disobedience against the hijab in Iran, can talk freely on the phone with Angelina Jolie from Evin prison. But then over 400 innocent youngsters were put to death between January and July last year for their support of the same "Zan Zendegi Azadi" movement. The other day I heard, Ali Karimi is now sentenced to death.
Comments: Shahin. All these EslAhtalabs like Zibakalam believe and promote they have global liberal views. I wouldn't put too much weight on what they say. We need to remove the vineer layer by layer to see things.
Comments: ![]() ![]() ![]() That came from the time I heard the name of the English player "Raheem Sterling". I said to myself, "Raheem Sterling" digeh che kos sherieh. Now we have more situations that we can apply it to
Comments: I don't trust most of what Nourizadeh says. I feel like he makes up stories as he goes along. Something off about him.
Comments: Farzad, he didn’t cite a source. He usually doesn’t. True or not, he implies he has sources “ within “. |
